Susan is fed up with her family, but when a magic coin whisks her back in time to Ancient Greece she finds that life with the gods and goddesses is much trickier. She is drawn into a series of hair-raising adventures, helping Hercules clean out the Augean stables, following Orpheus down into the Underworld, riding the winged horse Pegasus and narrowly missing being turned to stone by the gorgon Medusa.
