After years in London’s criminal underworld, Jojo and his vulnerable friend Didi are on the run from their former boss, the Serbian psychopath Zlatko. After the killing of one of Zlatko’s hitmen, Jojo instinctively makes for Gilfach, the small seaside town in Wales where as children the two friends had suffered the horrors of a home run by the sadistic Godfrey Harries, alias ‘God’. Swapping their streetwise Cockney talk for their native Welsh, they are soon picking up the threads of life in Gilfach.
